RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #258 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Unit #258 Features: 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit in the Orange Building. Includes views of both the pool and Gulf of Mexico from your private patio. Unit has recently received a luxury pillow top mattress topper for those that prefer a softer rest.

Had a great week at Silver Sands. Unit 258 was clean and well equipped. Beach is great. This resort has become a favorite for us. I realize the overall property is still recovering from the Fall 2024 hurricane, but there are a number of items that could easily be addressed to improve the guest experience. (1) The sign on the highway is not illuminated due to a hurricane caused electrical issue. This could easily be remedied with solar lighting. As it is, it is almost impossible to find the property from the highway at night. We drove past it almost every time and other guests shared the same experience. (2) Need more umbrellas at the pool for the hot afternoon sun. When we arrived there were 4 but one was lost overnight when it was blown down by the wind and destroyed. Property staff should close the umbrellas in the evening to prevent this. (3) One of the showers/foot wash stations outside the pool as one comes from the beach is missing stepping stones so one must step back into the sand after washing. This results in significant sand getting into the pool. Easy fix.

Great spot right on the beach. Our unit #258 was set up nicely. Had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. Management is very friendly and accommodating. This is a great location about midway in the key and is an easy commute to locations. We have been to this place twice and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Sands. We love the Longboat Key area and ease of access to lots of attractions. The unit was well maintained and the deck was a great, private place with a nice view of the gulf.

Our family has enjoyed getting together at the Silver Sands for many years! It is a great spot for a multigenerational vacation. The location right on the beach is perfect and the abundance of nearby restaurants is a plus.

We had a very good stayed, We have only one observation about bathroom’s clean, the mat inside bathtub needs be replacement urgently because it was very dirty.

It was much more than the pictures, extremely clean . Very comfortable bed and everything seemed simply upgraded.<br/>Loved the staff in the office, specially Emily. Extremely helpful with the greatest attitude. Went out of her way to help me with my phone so that I wouldn’t miss some important calls I was expecting. Great attitude, loves to please . Your very blessed to have such a wonderful employee. We’ll be back
