Larry Starr, President

Larry Starr, founder and President of RVA, has been a leading force in Sarasota’s vacation rental and real estate market since 1989. A true visionary, Larry has helped shape and elevate the travel and tourism landscape across the region, fostering sustainable growth and expanding the potential of our Gulf Coast paradise.

Under his leadership, RVA has earned distinction as a Top Vacation Rental Property Management Services Provider, a recognition that reflects the company’s commitment to excellence, personalized service, and long-term client satisfaction.

In addition to his role at RVA, Larry also serves as CEO of SVN Commercial Advisory Group, a prominent commercial real estate firm based in Sarasota. His industry expertise and community leadership are further reflected in his service as a Past President of the Visit Sarasota County Board of Directors. Larry’s commitment to innovation, quality, and community engagement continues to guide RVA’s mission and success.

Sean Halley, Vice President

With over 26 years of experience in business management, Sean Halley brings a dynamic and well-rounded background to his role as Vice President. His professional journey includes leadership roles with national luxury apartment communities, extensive work in commercial business development, and hands-on experience in construction and remodeling.

Sean oversees a broad scope of responsibilities, including property performance, capital improvement projects, operational planning, and disaster preparedness and response. His proactive approach to disaster planning ensures that RVA properties are not only well-maintained, but also equipped to handle unexpected events with resilience and minimal disruption. Since becoming Vice President in 2021, Sean has played a key role in advancing RVA’s vision, enhancing operational efficiency, and elevating the guest and owner experience across all properties.

Lauri Slade, Director of Operations

A valued member of the RVA team since 2004, Lauri Slade began her career in the rental division and has steadily advanced into key leadership roles, including Operations Manager and now Director of Operations. With a natural talent for leadership and a deep understanding of hospitality management, Lauri oversees the essential operational departments of housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.

In addition to daily operations, Lauri plays a vital role in onboarding new properties, ensuring each transition into the RVA portfolio is smooth, efficient, and aligned with the company’s high standards. Her strategic oversight, hands-on approach, and ability to lead and support her Management Team are key to the exceptional service and operational consistency that RVA is known for. Lauri’s dedication, drive, and deep industry knowledge continue to be instrumental to RVA’s long-term success.

Wendy Collins, Accounting Manager

A cornerstone of the RVA team, Wendy Collins has been with the company since its early days in 1989, playing a key role in shaping RVA into the trusted organization it is today. As a longtime resident of Longboat Key, Wendy brings not only exceptional financial expertise but also a deep, personal connection to the community we serve. Her unwavering loyalty, in-depth knowledge of both the company and the region, and decades of leadership have made her a valued mentor and role model within the organization. Wendy leads the accounting team in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and integrity across all aspects of the business.

Brandon Smith, Club Manager, Cedars Tennis Resort & Club

Brandon brings energy, dedication, and a deep understanding of hospitality to his role as Club Manager at Cedars Tennis Resort & Club. Within his responsibilities at RVA, Brandon oversees all aspects of the Club's daily operations at the Cedars East community. A true team player, he wears many hats—coordinating tennis professionals, managing rental activities, and planning engaging community events that enhance the resort experience for both guests and residents. His leadership and hands-on approach ensure that the Club runs smoothly while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all who visit.

Clint McRee, Operations Manager

As a vital member of our Operations Team, Clint McRee oversees the day-to-day functions of six resort properties, ensuring smooth operations across all locations. He is responsible for managing front desk personnel and coordinating the full range of operational activities at each resort. With several years of hands-on experience and deep market insight, Clint brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to his role. His leadership and attention to detail help deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences and efficient property operations throughout our portfolio.
