RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #257 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Loved everything about our unit. It was comfortable, clean, close walk to pool and beach. I will have to say it was probably the cleanest property I’ve ever rented!! Our stay was just too short.

This place has a great location. Needs some updates but everything works. Would stay again. The best part is the beach access. Very responsive management team! LBK is one our favorite vacation spots for over 20 years and would stay here again.

Very nice rental unit. Spacious and comfortable for 2 adults.<br/>Furnishings were like new. Most comfortable bed, I believe it was a Simmons mattress. Perfect view from the lanai. It was clean but some maintenance needed but I think scheduled like repair of a tear in the lanai screen. The location was ideal. The only recommendation would be to get different kitchen chairs that are not so heavy and noisy when moving them. Unfortunately since we didn’t realize that reservations for reservations were needed, we missed out on a chance to visit any for dinner. Ate at Harry’s for breakfast, best breakfast burrito ever. Loved the pool and beach but ocean still too chilly to swim in. Don’t plan on finding much if any shells.
