This sublime oceanfront condo is directly on the pristine white sands and serene blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Longboat Key, Florida! On the second floor, overlooking the heated pool and ocean, this dreamy one-bedroom condo is optimal for sunset viewing from a private lanai. Take a 30-second walk to the pool and secluded beach. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our peaceful condo at The Beach at Longboat Key Resort!

The space
Upon arrival to The Beach at Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, loungers, and onsite laundry. This owner also owns Units 222 and 103 - terrific opportunity to vacation with friends and family!

When you arrive, make your way to Unit 224, on the second floor, for optimal sunset viewing, dolphin observing, and manatee spotting...! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit - no key (to lose at the beach!) necessary.

Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space! The condo features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There are two Smart televisions (living room & bedroom), with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and chest of drawers for storing belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient!

The kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee makers - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, wine glasses, knife set, etc.) including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...!

The bathroom features a combined tub and shower, which always comes in handy when traveling with children!

Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with table and chairs, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There's also a lounge chair for kicking back and relaxing!

The condo has both central heat and air. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well.

On property, there is a heated pool with deck, featuring lounge chairs. Pick up a beach umbrella and stroll (no need to cross a busy street!) to reach the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own!

A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in the unit! Please bring your own lighter.

On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal.

The best part of unit 224 condo is the direct, unobstructed ocean view and private beach access - just sublime!

Notes:

1. Upon arrival, the condo will be prepared with fresh bed linens, bathroom towels, and beach towels. There will also be starter supplies of the following:

Bathroom:
- toilet paper
- shampoo & conditioner
- body wash
- hand soap
- hair dryer

Kitchen:
- paper towels
- sponge
- dish soap
- dishwasher detergent
- garbage bags
- cleaning spray
- aluminum foil
- plastic storage bags
- salt & pepper
- olive oil
- coffee filters (drip and Keurig!)
- ice cube trays

Closet:
- laundry detergent - community washer and dryer on the ground floor of the complex
- iron & ironing board
- vacuum (for the sand!)
- sun umbrella
- folding beach chairs

Daily housekeeping service is not available unless you would like to request a mid-stay clean for an extra fee, through Housekeeping, which we can arrange for you...! Sometimes that can come in really handy!

2. For unit 224, there is one parking spot available - park wherever you like within the lot! Due to the size of the parking lot, unfortunately, no guest cars or trailers can be accommodated because it will take a spot away from another condo. Please contact us directly for overflow parking information.

3. Please note unit 224 is a small one-bedroom best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two small children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations for over two adults due to sleeping arrangement comfort. If it is a unique situation, feel free to call to discuss further. Thank you for your understanding!

4. The condo is located on the second floor... for a stunning view! At the complex, there are stairs, but no elevator.

Very nice and quiet stay. Beautiful view of the Gulf. Beach not crowded. Condo was nicely furnished and bed was comfortable.The bathroom could use some attention on the floor and around the bathtub. Sue was great and provided helpful info on LBK restaurants and local shopping. Will definitely return for another stay.

Unit 224 reflects pride of ownership. This 2nd floor location is the best of the resort. Its welcoming entry, comfortable balcony, and heart-stopping views provide the magic. As a delightful bonus, access to a nearby sister property and Hugo II restaurant was prearranged. Stupendous dining.

We were in longboat key for just a short while. A quick getaway. This place was very nice, very clean, and very accommodating. I don’t think there’s another place on the island that put you as close to the water as the beach. We will definitely be back.

We were in Longboat Key for a wedding and decided on this condo by the pictures and reviews. It did not disappoint. The pictures are exactly what the condo looked like. It was clean when we arrived. The view of the ocean was spectacular! We loved sitting on our balcony with our morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Loved walking on the beach and collecting shells. We haven’t stopped talking about it. We will be back!

We love the RVA properties we have visited in the Sarasota area. It’s been a really good experience. The staff is east going and the rooms are clean and close to the beach. Really love the corner ground floor unit at the beach at longboat key!

Just as described. Perfect location and views. The kitchen had everything we needed and for the staff...one was nicer than the next! Sidney was extremely helpful and answered our questions. We even saw her out and about on the premises many times, cleaning and straightening up. We can’t wait to book this location again.

Even better than expected. Great view from the balcony, and the couch inside. Well maintained. You can hear voices thru the walls, from the people next door, but only while in the living area, and it wasn’t very often. The view from this second floor condo, is one of the best! Private beach, due to residences in the area instead of hotels. Wonderful experience! We’ll be back.

We have vacationed many times- at least a week each year for the past 5 years and sent several friends and family members. We love this place! It was a bit disappointing this time due to some issues with the TV and the bathtub not draining properly. We will still visit but may opt for a different unit next time, even tho this is our favorite. I still recommend for a relaxing beach vacation. The unit was cleaned and sanitized and the staff is very helpful. We felt safe visiting during the pandemic.
