On the second floor, overlooking the heated pool and ocean, this dreamy studio condo is optimal for sunset viewing from a private lanai. Take a 30-second walk to the pool and secluded beach. The space
Upon arrival to The Beach at Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, loungers, and onsite laundry. This owner also owns Units 103 and 224 - terrific opportunity to vacation with friends and family!

When you arrive, make your way to Unit 222, on the second floor, for optimal sunset viewing, dolphin observing, and manatee spotting...! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit. Each guest is assigned a secure, individualized 4-digit code (deleted upon departure!), allowing for 24/7 arrival/departure and freedom from carrying a key when on the beach...!

Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space! Unit 222 features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There is a Smart television, with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and chest of drawers for storing belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient!

The kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee makers - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, wine glasses, knife set, etc.) including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...!

The bathroom features a combined tub and shower, which always comes in handy when traveling with children!

Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with high top table and two chairs, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There's also a lounge chair for kicking back and relaxing!

The condo has both central heat and air. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well.

On property, there is a heated pool with deck, featuring lounge chairs. Pick up a beach umbrella and stroll (no need to cross a busy street!) to reach the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own!

A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in the unit! Please bring your own lighter.

On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal.

The best part of Unit 222 is the direct, unobstructed ocean view and private beach access - just sublime!

Notes:

1. Upon arrival, the condo will be prepared with fresh bed linens, bathroom towels, and beach towels. There will also be starter supplies of the following:

Bathroom:
- toilet paper
- shampoo & conditioner
- body wash
- hand soap
- hair dryer

Kitchen:
- paper towels
- sponge
- dish soap
- dishwasher detergent
- garbage bags
- cleaning spray
- aluminum foil
- plastic storage bags
- salt & pepper
- olive oil
- coffee filters (drip and Keurig!)
- ice cube trays

Closet:
- laundry detergent - community washer and dryer on the ground floor of the complex
- iron & ironing board
- vacuum (for the sand!)
- sun umbrella
- folding beach chairs
- beach wagon

Daily housekeeping service is not available unless you would like to request a mid-stay clean for an extra fee, through Housekeeping, which we can arrange for you...! Sometimes that can come in really handy!

2. For unit 222, there is one parking spot available - park wherever you like within the lot! Due to the size of the parking lot, unfortunately, no guest cars or trailers can be accommodated because it will take a spot away from another condo. Please conract us for overflow parking information.

3. Please note, unit 222 is a 330 sq-ft studio best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two small children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations for over two adults due to sleeping arrangement comfort. If it is a unique situation, feel free to message me to discuss further. 4. The condo is located on the second floor... for a stunning view! At the complex, there are stairs, but no elevator.

Great spot on the beach!

Even though our weather was less than ideal during our stay, we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Situated right on the beach, we enjoyed looking out onto the ocean from our Second floor room every day. The efficiency we rented was just enough for the two of us, it was clean and comfortable. It had some issues with the screen door...struggle to open and close and a few holes, but manageable.Great restaurants in the area and nearby on Anna Maria Island. And again, you can't beat the location and view! We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay but I was a bit upset that the charge per day advertised was not the actual price charged to us. Apparently that is that actual price if you stay an extended stay but that was not made know you us until we tried to book the room. I found that to be deceptive.

If you’re looking for a beautiful view, clean beaches, and a nice little condo this is the place for you. If you’re afraid of dolphins you might want to stay away. One morning I was standing just above ankle deep when I saw 2 dolphins coming towards me no farther than 10ft out. They must have been in water no deeper than 2-3ft. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. The staff at Beach was awesome. We arrived early and we’re allowed to check in. Nothing worse than traveling all day and having to figure out something to do before you can drop off your things. I will definitely come back!

Couldn’t get any closer to the ocean, very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect size clean pool and short steps to the very quiet beach. The room was a studio so pretty small but had all we needed, we will stay again but may upgrade to a little bit larger room.
