Welcome to Waterside Home - a blue, stilted home on residential Norton Street. This quiet neighborhood on the northern end of the island of Longboat Key is known for its peaceful views and serenity. One visit and you will quickly discover why area residents flock to Norton Street as their preferred location on Longboat Key. Gates along the front perimeter allow the backyard of this home to become a peaceful paradise, complete with garden foliage, a private open-air swimming pool, an outdoor shower, a large dining and grilling area, and a wooden walkway leading out to a boat dock and canal views. Travel up the stairs to enter Waterside Home and you will quickly soak in the warm beach decor, from the driftwood furniture to the turquoise blues, this home is everything you would want in a vacation home in paradise. The living room includes high ceilings with rustic, wooden beams and opens up to a large, enclosed patio. The master bedroom is off the living room and also includes access to the enclosed patio, with a master bathroom and walk-in closet included. The kitchen is spacious enough for any chef and includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and updated appointments. Off the kitchen is the large dining room, spacious enough to host any gathering, and a den complete with an oversized sectional sofa that will make you want to melt into it, custom book shelving, and most importantly doors to keep the den area private. The two guest bedrooms and guest bathroom are well decorated in the continued beach-island flair. The home also features under-building parking, a large front-yard grassy knoll, wireless Internet access, and plenty of charm. When we think of Florida charm we think of blue stilted homes, and Waterside Home does not disappoint!

Terrific Family Visit

Had a terrific family visit with four adults and two kids at Waterside House. All features were just as listed; used the beautiful kid-friendly pool every day before or after the beach; outdoor shower was great for getting the sand off; dock with fish & lizards and other creatures was great fun; screened porch was a big plus and sometimes slept out there! Beach chairs and beach wagon to carry them was really helpful. Would definitely stay at Waterside home again!

What a great property. We brought our 13ft boat which we docked right in the backyard! The house was perfect. Layout is really great with a super screened in back porch. 5 minute walk to the beach (beach chairs are provided). Home is decorated beautifully. We have already secured the rental for next year!! RVAFL is super responsive and helpful.

Our week was perfect! The house was amazing and it really felt like home, we were so sad to leave! We enjoyed the pool every day we were there and the backyard was perfect especially with small children. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience we hope to be back in the future!

Our family stayed in this lovely home the week of Thanksgiving. It is in a great location; on a canal leading to the bay and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.
