Located beachfront on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella (located in the back closet) while breathing in the fresh saltwater air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beachfront units.

We have the perfect spot to see sunsets up close and personal. The pool is so warm and inviting. Our unit is clean and has everything we need for a perfect stay.

In many cases I tend to ignore a request for a review of a product or service. I cannot do that in the case of Unit 259 Silver Sands. The owners have put great thought into both making you feel welcome and providing what would be the needs of most people/ A welcoming card when you arrive is a nice touch. The view of the Gulf is of course the highlight. But more than that the owners spent time thinking what they would like if they were renting the place. This is my fourth time as Silver Sands and the people at the front desk are always helpful. IN this latest trip it is Margaret who did a great job helping when I needed assistance

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Unit 259. It is furnished thoughtfully, and everything we needed was provided. The views from the screen porch were amazing! The water is perfect, so clear and such a beautiful color of turquoise. We did not turn on the televisions all week. We will be back again next year! The only recommendation we could possibly make is the king size bed has a very firm/hard mattress. We would suggest adding a pillowtop topper, and that would make it just perfect!

Nice clean property as described. Location is family friendly, quiet and nicely kept. Nice pool. Manager on site is very helpful. Had a very nice stay. Great view too. Groceries and shopping close by.

We absolutely love Silver Sands. It's the perfect location for us and we like being right on the gulf. The pool is the perfect temperature. Maid service is a real plus.

Its the perfect location and has everything you need. Beach and pool steps away, has a magnificent beach view. Beds are comfortable and kitchen has everything you need.<br/>The only issue we had was with housekeeping not showing up or doing almost nothing. Front desk was aware of the situation, we had to request towels and toiletry. One thing I will say is, bathrooms were clean but had moldy grout, not terrible but some. <br/>Overall great experience. Easy to reserved but do it with some lead time.

We loved our time in this beautiful condo! It was so nice sitting on the screened porch listening to the Gulf which was the backyard of this divine abode. Only 2 suggestions: invest about $200.00 in a mattress topper for the king bed. They are readily available on Amazon. And provide rinse aid for the dishwasher. Some of the dishes we washed looked streaked. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

This condo was right on the beach and just wonderful! It was very clean and had all the comforts of home! My family and I hated to leave but will definitely be back! Highly recommend for your Longboat vacation!

Front desk person did an excellent job of getting us a repairman on Saturday when our air conditioner died. So appreciated!! Cleaning crew are all excellent. We will be back.
