Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #257S will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Unit #257S Features: 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit in the Orange Building. Includes views of both the pool and Gulf of Mexico from your private patio.

Lovely place with amazing location and view. We really liked our rental and it was fully furnished with everything we needed. The property manager was extremely helpful and friendly, Margaret I think was her name. We are coming back at the beginning of January to enjoy the beach and property once again. The price was very reasonable. The unit is a little older, but in very good condition and clean.

Everything was exactly how we visioned. Beach was amazing and even tho it was very windy and cold while we were there it was much better than 1 degrees where we live!

Enjoy your coffee in the morning on the screened verandah with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the heated pool. The location is well kept b y a friendly staff. Your neighbors are friendly, respectful and quiet. At check-in, we needed some help and Emilie, at the front desk, cheerfully accommodated us.

Great room - very clean! Super close to the gulf & amazing sunset views. Charming resort with a lot of extras! Will stay here again!!
