Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #255A will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Location was superb, with the beach very private. The unit was clean and well stocked with towels. We enjoyed breakfast at The Blue Dolphin Cafe and dinner at The Chart House.

Loved the location! Watch the sunset on the beach each evening. Room was as described. Stayed in a single hotel style room as this was a short visit. Will get a one bedroom unit next time.

It is a great place to stay an right on the beach. They had beach chairs/loungers and beach umbrellas for us as well. We had great customer service, mostly touch free just had to pick up the keys at the desk. We enjoyed the walk to Harrys convenient store and gourmet Deli just down the road. We did not use the tennis courts that was offered but the place looked nice when we walked by it so it is also in walking distance.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Silver Sands Resort on Longboat Key. The facility is well kept and offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We had plenty of room at the beach to relax and not feel like we had people too close to us. The only thing I thought they need to add is an Ice Machine for their guests.

Another great winter vacation for our family at Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Beautiful beach and beautiful views. Great location on Longboat Key. Some units need resupplies of kitchen dishes and utensils. Overall, the grounds and management personnel are impeccable.

Our vacation stay was wonderful although short. Just a few steps from the beach and if you don’t feel like the beach there’s a heated pool to enjoy as well. Several great restaurants to choose from that are just a few minutes away. The room was very comfortable and restaurants deliver if you preferred to stay in. We will definitely be back!!
