Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #248 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Unit #248 Features: 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit in the Orange Building. Includes views of both the pool and Gulf of Mexico from your private patio.

I have been vacationing at Silver Sands Resort in Longboat Key throughout the years since 1995 and absolutely love this quaint, peaceful place of comfort and relaxation. It's like my home away from home. The stuff are always a pleasure and very helpful.

Cute, comfortable, clean space on the most beautiful beach! Chairs were already in the beach ready to go! The screened porch was another great place for dinners and wine while listening to the waves crash! The pool was right outside the front door! Will be back!

Our rooms were nice and clean. Had a kitchen and a little patio area. Room exits right to the pool and beach area. Very nice and relaxing place. Enjoyed it. The amenities were convenient and available. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

We had a good experience at Silver Sands Resort. The place was clean and we found everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was large and well-equipped. Our room was done every day and our unit was steps away from the beach and facing the pools. Beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided by the facility, as well as beach towels. There were two television sets, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. We would definitely stay there again.

Great spot just steps from the gulf. Tennis club/pool/clubhouse across the street a great perk. Shuffleboard, putt-putt holes, pool all much-enjoyed. Check out Solorzano's (NJ pizza)! Great seafood all over (but especially at Tide Tables). Can't wait to get back to the GULF!
