This unit was spotless clean. Easy access on the first floor. And just steps to the sand. Everything was clean and it had everything I needed for a few days on the beach

I have been coming to Silver Sands for over 25 years and always love it. So nice to walk out on the beach so easily. Plus the north end of LBK has the best beaches.

Nice room with everything needed for your stay. Love the decor, mermaid theme and bed was comfortable. There were enough towels for our stay and it was helpful to have beach towels provided. Room was clean and the AC worked well. Resort was clean and well kept. Pool was lovely and the rinse stations coming off of the beach were put to good use. It was helpful to have a wagon to bring luggage from the parking area to the room. <br/>I think that having chairs and umbrellas to use on the beach is wonderful and convenient, but the one recommendation would be to have someone take charge of them every day. At a previous resort we stayed at they were taken down to the beach every morning and set up with an umbrella and brought back in the evening. But here they are kept at the beach entrance and other visitors didn’t always put them back or remove their towels etc. Therefore there were sandy loungers laying wherever. Otherwise the beach was lovely. <br/>We would recommend this resort and room which is perfect for 2 people.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the beach. The room was very clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The staff was attentive and friendly. Pool and a beautiful beach what more do you need!!!!

My second time staying here. An absolute gem of a location. Nice, clean room on a private beach. It’s a lovely island and close enough to Sarasota, Bradenton, and Siesta Key. I’ll be back again!

Stayed in 245A. Room was nice but there were two problems. Found refrigerator (water) leak near entry door when back from dinner; dangerous could slip. Phone in room did not work although it was plugged in properly. Called on cell phone to report leak; never got an answer.

We have stayed at Silver Sands for nearly 10 years but with the virus this year, we shortened the stay and downsized units (to just a hotel room) since one of us is staying isolated at home. Couple of small changes that can keep the property competitive in what I expect will be a harder rental market for a season or two. Starting in the beginning; the 24 hour cancellation option was key to me being comfortable making a reservation. I was able to come but times are harder. I was a bit surprised that you didn't have any extra discounts to help entice people to choose Silver Sands. Since this was the case, for the first time I looked around and there are nice options at a lower price point. The reservation team is very nice and helpful but I was told that the hotel room didn't have any plates, silverware etc which was not the case; not a big deal but it would have made packing easier for me. Finally, two items: 1) the extra cleaning fee seemed excessive for a hotel room and only 2 night stay and 2) checking in early or checking out late always seems to be a big deal on this property. With no one in my room before me nor staying there the night I left, I would have hoped it would have been welcomed but although not too much of a challenge, I was given the impression it was hard to facilitate and thus I didn't ask for what I really wanted.

Extremely clean,private, quiet,just need to bring a bathing suit and personal toiletries. Beach and pool are heavenly! Definitely will book again. Provided me with a well rested stay I was hoping to find.
