Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Unit #243S Features: 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit in the Green Building with a direct pool view and a distant Gulf view from your private patio.

We have been coming to Silver Sands for over 25?years. It includes many of our extended family members! We love the location and uncrowded beaches. We also enjoy many of the offerings besides the beach for example; beautiful pool , duffle board court and the newly redone miniature golf course. Really like the ocean view on the screened in porch! Also like TVs in each room. Thanks Silver Sands!!

We were very pleased with our stay at Silver Sands. The location was great overlooking the pool area. The connecting rooms was perfect for the three of us. Also enjoyed having the beach towels when down on the beach. Also enjoyed our walks along the gulf!

We have been vacationing here at Silver Sands for 12 plus years and we absolutely Love it! The private beach is right out your door and the pool is always so refreshing after hanging out on the beach! Just a laid back place and feels like we are a million miles away but in less then 2 hours we are enjoying our tropical get away!

This place is a small piece of Heaven. Always clean and the landscape is perfect Florida. I would give five stars but the king bed is very hard...not comfortable at all. But the surroundings help me forget about my stiff back. :) We love Silver Sands
