This is our favorite place to stay on LBK. Accommodations are super clean & comfortable for our entire family. Love the screened in porch (or balcony). Heated pool too!

We had a great stay over the 4th of July holiday, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary! Our room was just as described, the verticals blinds on the sliding door had a few missing or broken, but nothing significant. It’s easy pool and beach access. Beautiful views! The pool was closed the first day and a half due to mechanical issues. They did offer another option down the road 1/4 of a mile, which we did not partake. The beach was beautiful, clean and private. Our morning walks were so serene! We saw dolphins and manatees right from the beach! It was turtle season, seeing the nests and tracks daily was so interesting and talking to the volunteers that check them each morning was so informative! Great sunsets! We enjoyed our meal at the Mar Vista- the grilled grouper on rice and beans was amazing! The Silver Sands was a relaxing environment and the staff were very accommodating! It was nice that they had an area of beach toys/umbrellas and floats that could be used/borrowed during your stay. Overall a great stay! Thanks!

I stayed with my daughter and a friend three ladies. This Condo was plenty big and so comfortable. Great staff on site. I had a problem when I checked in My daughter's dialysis supplies were ordered ahead of time and deliver to the office but the office was closed and locked when we arrived after hours. The manager came all the way back in to get them for us! He was literally a LIFE SAVER! The stay and the staff were wonderful!

We loved the condo on Longboat Key. Very private and great view of gulf. Our room faced the pool and the gulf. Great location, close to wonderful restaurants and shops. Will be going again!

We were only able to stay one night but it was very pleasurable . The place was clean and welcoming, and as described, we had to enter through the bedroom to get to the living room and kitchen. Right out the sliding glass doors we were a few steps away from the beach and pool which was very convenient. Would stay again.

First time staying here. Was very impressed with the room. Just like a small apartment. Separate living room, kitchen and bedroom. All appliances were up to date. Very clean. Just wish there was a place for the boat and trailer.

This was my second trip to Silver Sands. Both stays were the perfect winter get away! The pool is right outside the sliding glass door and the ocean just steps beyond the pool. The Lanai is perfect place for coffee in the mornings and provides a "sand barrier" when coming in from the beach. The condo is fully equipped and the King Size bed is so very comfortable after a day out and about! My only suggestion is that the sleeper sofas be refurbished with new mattresses or frames! Both times I stayed (different condos) the sleeper sofa was so uncomortable....even when "dog-tired" it was hard to get comfortable!

After a not so pleasant experience with a rental house I just happened across silver sands (I was contemplating just returning home). Everyone I talked to was so nice. Property was in a great location. Property and room was very clean. Great relaxing place!
