Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #239 will have the option of temporary membership privileges, for a transfer fee, at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

We really appreciated this place. The landscaping is beautiful and the place is very well kept. The pool was reasonably warm. The ocean is not far away and the island is quiet.

Clean,quiet,right on the beach. Great for a relaxing beach vacation. No access to restaurants or bars from the beach. You need to drive for a selection of places to eat. If you're looking for relaxation and a great beach and nice pool at a decent rate, this is the place.

The property is on the beach. The unit is on the side by the road. The the unit was clean, plenty of room, stocked well (need to bring cooking oils and spices if you plan to cook much), we slept good. Short walk to beach, lounge chairs available. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed our stay, would stay there again.

My wife and I are very happy with our experience with RVA Silver Sands. Our 2 and 4 year old had a great time and we felt very welcomed. The resort had beach umbrellas, chairs, and toys to make our stay more relaxing. The first night we locked ourselves out after hours so we called the number on the app and they got us back inside in minutes. This is our second time staying at an RVA resort and highly recommend them.

I rented this for my friends - thank you for taking care of them! They loved being right on the beach and in the very best area of Sarasota. Beautiful, spacious, 2-bedroom condo, I would definitely rent it again!

My 3 adult children came to visit us at our Palmetto Florida home. Since they were no able to use the community pool because of covid restrictions, I decided to take them to a place on the beach for a few days. I found Silver Sands and it met and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful pool area and beach access was great. Emily was so very helpful. We loved it!

I our family which includes for younger children loved our stay. On a beautiful beach and close to other beautiful beaches we thoroughly enjoyed the rental space. Amazing spot! We enjoyed ourselves so much that a 2 night stay turned into a 4 night stay. The condo and was exactly as described and as it appears in the photos. Everything was super clean and the location was perfect. We are already planning our next trip and will DEFINITELY stay here again.
