Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #237 will have the option of temporary membership privileges, for a transfer fee, at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

We thoroughly appreciated the cleanliness, friendliness, and location of this rental. Literal steps from the beach and in a low key area that wasn’t too crowded!! But still had plenty of access to food and entertainment. I think we found our new vacation spot :)

Stayed at Silver Sands for the third time and as before, it was excellent. I stayed in an efficiency that was plenty big for one or two people. The unit was immaculate with everything you need. One of the best parts of Silver Sands would be the staff. They are very welcoming and so kind. You’re right on the beach and the pool is warm. Longboat Key is a paradise. I highly recommend Silver Sands.

The studio unit worked well for a single week rental. Would definitely want a larger unit if the stay was longer for addition seating options while in room. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed walks on the beach which included chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for a beach getaway.

We needed an extra room for 2 nights on last minute notice due to another property’s foolish extension of stay policies. Glad I could give money to a company who wanted it! Very clean and good nights’ sleeps! Did the trick! Thank you Silver Sands and RVA!

Only stayed 1 night, that was the only problem. The place was close to the beach, the room and facilities were so clean. Staff was very friendly and I feel like they would have been prompt in fixing any problems, but there were no problems. Worth every penny.

Our room was sort of small but very clean. The biggest issue was lack of seating, only one chair and the two stools don't have backs on them. Also the television in the room is smaller than most computer monitors, but you don't go to the beach to sit inside and watch TV! Staff was very friendly and overall we had a great time.

We love Longboat Key but it's usually quite expensive to stay, especially anywhere beachside. Silver Sands was cute, clean, and affordable. We had some trouble with the lighting in our room and the maintenance guy walked in on us without knocking so that was uncomfortable. Five minutes earlier and it would have been quite embarrassing for all of us. I wasn't looking to cook while there so the mini fridge and microwave were enough. However, there was a two burner hot plate but no pots or pans to use if someone did want to cook. Otherwise the room contained everything we needed for a short stay.
