Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #234 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

This was a wonderful little place. It is a 2 story building with 30 to 40 units. The front desk staff was amazing, so nice, very friendly and informative. We will stay again.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, the furnishings clean, the location was amazing. Plenty of towel including beach towels. Easy check in and check out.A private beach and the most beautiful sunsets over the dunes. A beautiful pool and putting green. I can't wait to come back with my grandchildren.

The unit was spacious,comfortable and very clean. The resort is managed well and the staff is friendly. The beach access is wonderful. The resort provides chairs,umbrellas and even a few options for the kids. Love this place!!

The best resort to stay at on the west coast. I told my friend and he’s reserving from 9/10/2021-9/12/2021. With his family is a very nice resort to spend quality time with your love ones.

My Dad stayed at this room while I stayed at another and he only had an issue with a light switch that he said didn't work. This room also had other amenities such as premium channels and a nearby sports club member benefits which he couldn't use due to his age and mobility but nice to have.

great location; office staff helpful and very flexible. the interior is dated, there were some flaws....busted water sprinkler in ceiling, old grout in the tub, there was a fan in the bedroom to accommodate the air flow. but overall clean and efficient. nothing fancy, just the basics in a very nice, low key environment. clean landscaping and wonderful pool. beachside chairs and equipment available....PERFECT BEACH and SUNSET. well worth the money
