Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck, so guests can read email, surf the Internet and soak up the Florida sun all at the same time!

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands #232 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

This is a great unit for 2 people. So close to the beautiful beach on the Gulf and the complex has a very nice pool. Like that we were able to check out a beach umbrella from the office and the beach chairs were provided in the unit for our use. For a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price, try Hugo II for lunch or dinner - just make a reservation for dinner.

Cute place, perfect for a couple looking to enjoy a beach getaway on the best beach on Long Boat Key. Very well-maintained property and the woman who managed our stay was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. The small complex has a very nice pool area which looks like it has been recently renovated. Just beyond the pool and within steps we were on the beach.

When arriving at Silver Sands, I was greeted like a family member who hadn’t been home for a visit in a long time, with a friendly, warm welcome. My unit was immaculate, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is absolute perfection. On the beach, close to restaurants, just down the road from St. Armand’s, and an easy drive to Tampa, Orlando, Siesta Key, etc. for a day trip. Perfect place to walk or take a bicycle ride in a paradise. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Silver Sands is an amazing place to stay. Quiet and clean accommodations. Unit #232 was super clean and provided the comforts of home. I absolutely love the painting on the kitchen wall. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to welcome you. Longboat Key offers several places to dine along with many parks to picnic in and take a walk. One thing I would highly recommend to the resort is to change out all the key locks for coded entry/access. The few units with a coded entry/access are super sweet as you don't have to keep track of a key. Thank you for the great experience. We will be back!

Silver Sands was perfect for our stay, cleanness,service,staff,neighborhood. We had all we need, towels and beach towels, beach umbrella, seats. All you have to bring is the family and groceries. Iam planning to go back soon. I recommend Silver Sand.

This is our 3rd year staying at Silver Sands beach resort. We have stayed in 3 different units and each one has been wonderful! Very clean, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels. The location right on the beach is lovely with plenty of beach chairs to sit, relax and watch the sunset. The pool is wonderful with a nice water temperature- not cold, which is important to just jump or walk right in and swim. We love it here, the location is perfect and we will be back again next year.

We had a great time celebrating my dad's 80th birthday there. The condo was comfortable and the staff were welcoming. The condo is right on the beach. There were three families renting different condos and we were all happy! Our children were able to walk back and forth from the beach and the pool. The beach was beautiful and the water super clear while we were there. We would definitely return!

Arrived on time to check in and found out my room had a maintenance problem. Desk clerk upgraded me to an efficiency which was quite nice. The landscaping was beautiful and the pool was great with very comfortable lounge chairs. The only thing I would recommend they do is spend an extra buck or two for better quality toiletries. Chinese made soap and shampoo sucked. I would recommend this property, just bring your own stuff from home.

We stayed here for a short stay in April 2021. The unit is right on the beach in Longbeach Key. The beach is great, the pool is great. The unit had a small screened porch which was wonderful to sit out at night and read. There were a couple of things that prevented me from giving this 5 stars across the board, one was within the resorts control, one outside of it. - Overall the unit was pretty clean until I happened to look on top of the fridge. There was something all over it that was offputting. Not sure what it was and I was thankful that was the only place that it was. - There's really nothing very close by. If you head South you are only about 5-10 minutes from stuff which is fine. However there are also a bunch of nice places North of the unit but the traffic is just brutal. Like 30 minutes to go 4 miles brutal. I would've liked to had places to walk to. Again, outside of the units control. The staff working were wonderful ... polite, friendly and professional. Overall would stay here again.

We have been coming to SS for 20 years. We choose this location because it is very quiet, on the beach and has a kitchen to prepare meals. We were lucky to get 3 days during spring break. Unit 232 needs some update and cleaning, Especially the outside porch floor and furniture. Inside furnishings were very old and "tired". I probably would not rent this unit in the future. We had everything we needed and the staff is extremely nice! I would rent a different unit next time. Also, the pool needed a good cleaning and needed repair. I didn't feel like it was clean.
