Clean and efficient accommodations, with excellent location on the beach. Nice Kitchenette with new appliances. at first I was taken aback by the murphy bed and the TV service (leaves much to be desired ) However, it had a great view, great location, was clean and we grew quite fond of it.

A nice relaxing experience, just steps away to the pool, and the beach, with very nice accommodations, with lots of things to do just a short drive away. We got lucky and the weather couldn’t have gotten any nicer for being in January so we had a A+ stay!!

We had such a relaxing time. Everything was perfect. We had an issue with the HVAC, but it was resolved very quickly. Staff was fantastic! We loved the size of the unit and the property. We will be back!

Very pleasant office staff. The Beach at Longboat Key is in a great location, close to places of interest on both ends but in a less crowded area which we liked. We stayed in the studio, surprisingly big enough, even more surprising was the comfort of the Murphy bed. The room was clean and the grounds were very nice. Lazy Lobster is a close restaurant that we liked a lot

We enjoyed the rental unit. We had a nice secluded patio. An upstairs unit would have had a better view of the ocean, but it was easier to be on the first floor and not have to climb stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this site! For the few days it was good, however, if we would have been staying for longer like a week we would have needed a bigger place but for staying a few days it was great! Really enjoyed having the chairs and umbrellas for free! Loved having the access to the beach!! Overall we had a great experience!

Cute little room with just enough space to enjoy a walk on the beach or a splash in the pool. Nothing is better than being able to walk out your door to the beautiful sunset or seeing the little rabbits in the courtyard. With shopping very near and plenty of restaurants this location is perfect. We also enjoyed breakfast made in our in room kitchen. This location is our #1 out of 6 places we stayed over the past year!

It was a great place to stay overall. I do wish that I would have noticed the bath tub mat that was placed below the pedestal sink. (for cleanliness reasons I assume) before I noticed it, I did slip in the shower and bloodied my nose. One night I did see two cockroaches cross the floor and go under the cabinets. Didn't let that bother me and I don't know if that is common to the area. Overall it was nice. I will stay on the second floor next time. Thank You

This was a great location and very quiet. Hardly anyone on the beach but the red tide was pretty bad. Caused me to have runny nose and cough. Other than that it was a nice stay and we will be back. &#xD83D;&#xDE0A;

We had a very fun Easter at this location, kitchen was very small but very organized and workable. We were amazed at how we could really sleep on a Murphy bed, it was very comfortable. Views of the beach and sunsets fabulous, and on Easter morning a bunny was in our patio. I would go there again, and the staff was very nice. The only suggestion would be about the beautiful blocks glass in the entryway, my daughter had trouble sleeping because the light was shining on her, perhaps a curtain or some way to block the light. Otherwise great!

We stayed at The Beach Resort on Longboat Key, FL in a studio suite. Our bed was a pull-down murphy bed that folded up easily. The kitchenette had full-sized appliances, including an ice maker. There was also a toaster and a coffee pot and plenty of pots/pans, etc. There was a small dinnette table and a very, very small bathroom. We were on the ground floor and we had a covered patio with two lounge chairs, four regular chairs and a large table that was perfect for eating outside. The gulf views and sunsets were spectacular and it was a very short walk to the beach. Pros: very clean, people were friendly, beautiful view, pool, beach amazing, amenities were great. Cons: The biggest issue was that our patio door did not have a screen on it. All of the others did. That meant we could not enjoy fresh air without risking bugs (there are bugs in FL!), getting into our unit. The weather was perfect for getting fresh air and we could not. And, there were no windows that could open. Management was aware and said they were waiting for a door.That was a pretty big disappointment, since we were coming from a snowy state primarily for the weather. Also, the air conditioner, which we had to keep on just for some air in the unit was very, very loud.

When they say ocean front, they mean it. You walk out your patio doors and you are steps to the well kept pool and a few more to the beautiful beach. The place was very clean and well kept. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas were provided which is also a nice perk. For 2 people and a short stay, well worth the money! We will be back should we choose Longboat!

Great beach with no high rises with decks lurching behind you and very limited access for public use so it doesn’t feel crowded. As with anywhere on Longboat, you’ll feel completely safe in and around this location. The accommodations are basically everything you need and nothing you don’t. Simple and comfortable.<br/>A great value and RVA reps wear helpful.
