Compliments of RVA, Beach Castle Resort expands from the bayside of Longboat Key to the Gulf – providing a place to launch your kayak and cast a line, a chance to spot exotic birds that stop here for our mild temperatures and to view a picture-perfect sunset over the Gulf of Mexico -- all courtesy of Mother Nature.

The grounds here are impeccable – from the well-manicured vegetation to the vast palm trees that dot this serene Longboat Key location. The buildings at Beach Castle are the color of sunshine and are accented by Bahama shutters and railings that resemble palm trees. Each unit is individually owned, which means no unit is alike and provides a unique vacation experience to our guests. However, all units provide a full kitchen, living room and private lanais – never compromising the comforts of home.

This secluded hideaway exudes a classic charm that, as vacationers, we yearn for. A place to get away from it all, relish in the Florida sunshine and reconnect with family and friends; all this while enjoying white-sand beaches, privacy and most importantly, vacation memories that last a lifetime.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Beach Castle Resort #21 will have the option of temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts, community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Beach Castle Resort is a quiet, 21-unit condominium resort midway on the exclusive island of Longboat Key with a variety of views including Gulf front, Bay front, pool and garden views.

Unit #21 Features: Two-bedroom, two-bathroom first-floor unit with bay views. Decorated in bright, Florida charm with updated amenities including wireless Internet access, flat-screen TV’s and a large, private lanai.

Bedding: 1 King, 2 Full Beds, Sleeper Sofa

Parking: All guests have use of 1 assigned parking spot during their stay. Additional spots are available at a nearby community on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly ask guests to plan accordingly.

Pets: Pets are not permitted on Beach Castle property.

Resort Features: Full-size Kitchen, Spacious Floorplans, Heated Community Pool, Community Hot Tub, Grills, On-site Office, Private Lanais, Complimentary Laundry Facilities, Shared Boat Docks (available on a first-come, first-served basis, a 26' boat limit, and guest is responsible to find off-site parking for boat trailer), Cable TV, Wireless Internet, Complimentary Guest Parking, Private Beach Access, Complimentary Lounge Chairs and Umbrellas

Please Note: Beach Castle is a self service resort; we do not provide daily housekeeping services. For your convenience, an amenity “Starter Kit” is provided to assist you upon your arrival. Any essentials required after the initial provided, such as toilet paper, dish soap, etc. is the responsibility of the guest.

Small, quiet complex spanning from beach to bay with Old Florida feel. Unit is completely updated, everything is new and clean. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, private layout with each bed/bath on the opposite side of the living room/kitchen area. We had everything we needed! Beach is gorgeous!

Sean was a great host at the office. He answered all our questions- even helped us with a key issue we had. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The porch was nice. Pool was amazing.

The condo was very comfortable and clean. Beach Castle is in a great location, easy to get to beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. We did have a problem with the front door key and found it difficult to open. Also the master shower knob handle was hard to pull out and push in. We enjoyed using the lanai every day. A table on the lanai would be welcome.

We are so thankful that this property was recommended to us! We got to watch the sunrises each morning over Sarasota Bay and the sunsets each night over the Gulf of Mexico. The property is full of lush, tropical vegetation, and the condos are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Ted, the manager, was very friendly. Our check-in and check-out were both easy and hassle-free. Not only do we want to stay here again, we want to live here!

Great experience- easy check in and check out. Condo appeared exactly like the photos and was clean and very well stocked with everything needed. Great layout for our family of four- kids enjoyed having larger beds and sharing a larger room. The sofa pulls out as well if extra room is needed. The location is perfect- away from the traffic of the north end of the island. We enjoyed fishing off the pier on the bay and walking along and playing in the ocean - both only a couple minutes walk from the room. Our kids loved the pool which was heated and clean. Would definitely stay here again next time we choose to visit Longboat Key!

Beach Castle is perfectly located between the bay and beach. Walkable to some of the few restaurants on the island, and more importantly, ice cream. The unit was clean and had everything except for scissors. The resort was quiet and there were no disturbances. Our kids loved the pool which is heated and was never crowded.

Booking and check-in was easy and quick! The staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub was clean and comfortable. As for the condo unit, the kitchen and bathrooms updated. They were very nice! The beds are uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The master bathroom shower did not drain well. Other quest staying at this location were all friendly!

My family came from Dallas, Atlanta and Valdosta, and Gainesville to celebrate my 75th birthday and Thanksgiving. I rented 3 condos for 10 people who loved the location, across from the beach and access to the Bay for fishing. The accommodations were perfect for 10 adults. Condos were walking distance to a beautiful park and golf was available for guests of Club members. Condos were clean and well-equipped. I would recommend Beach Castle to anyone considering a Sarasota vacation on Longboat Key.
